Bobby began his career in corporate video, progressed into video production and then into TV news at WJXT-TV, Jacksonville.
During his five-years as a photojournalist, he covered a vast array of events, including extensive coverage of the turmoil surrounding the 2000 election in Florida.
Bobby is a lighting expert, and has the ability to bring out the best in his team members. In September, 2000, Bobby shot, edited, and co-produced a news documentary "Behind Closed Doors," the stories of battered women and their fight for justice. “Behind Closed Doors” has since won the Edward R. Murrow award, and the prestigious Peabody Award. At VLS, Bobby quickly moved into management and still continues his role as Chief Videographer/Editor.
